Nice looking grips, really dress up the pistol from the plastic factory grips. Stippling definitely helps maintain purchase. These grips are very similar in size to factory, I wish they were a bit thinner, I know I could sand them down but then I'd lose the stippled surface. In fact it feels like to me that they are actually thicker at the mag release button than the factory grip. I too had to do just a bit of filing to make the grip fit and also needed to further countersink the screw hole such that the screw could grab the threads in its partner grip side. I was told by Larry's that its not the grip variation, but variation in the Trailside frame. So it may or may not be "drop in" for you.

This Grip is Beautiful, turned a rather old Trailside with factory black plastic grips into a high end show piece (Almost). The fit and finish is top notch. Don't hesitate to purchase.

Overall I'm pleased with these grips. I had to do some light sanding on the rectangular insert, on the inside of the grip, that fits into the frame of my TS. They are shaped very similarly to the stock TS grips, but don't flare out as much near the mag well.

I ordered my X-esse handgun (Hammerli) with the trailside wood (walnut) sport grips, stippled. Amazing! A bit pricey but IMHO they are worth every cent. Look really good, great feel, nice fit to the gun. Much better than the standard plastic grips.

Feels better than the stock grip. However I had to trim a little to get them to fit properly.Overall, nice grip.

I just ordered 2 sets. One for me and a shooting buddy. Looking forward to the beauty & feel of wood on my TS.

What an improvement to the pistol. As noted elsewhere, these are not cheap; but what do you expect with grips made for a gun that only saw limited availability in the U.S.? They did need a bit of trimming around the magazine well, which I prefer to grips that are a sloppy fit but guaranteed to be a drop-in every time. Five minutes with a needle file and they fit with no play at all. Well worth the investment.

I have a set of Herrett H41 grips on my S&W M41 and wanted something similar for my X-esse. These feel great, wide, secure and filling for my hand. When I order a Rink target grip I use a LRB code if anyone is wondering about the size. I fit the grip with the top of the grip inserted in the frame window (to keep the grip from rubbing against the slide) and scribed the bottom of the grip frame to show the material needed to be removed to fit the frame window. Then I used a rotary file bit to to take off the excess material. I removed about a 1/32" of material, and the wood was still oiled at that depth. Good stuff.
